Wi-Fi access point as a subscription - anywhere!

Since December 2008 we’ve been working on a complete change of how Wi-Fi access points are deployed and managed. Our efforts are targeted to offer a great experience for users and a very cost effective solutions for businesses that want to offer Wi-Fi access points to their customers and visitors.

Wholesale of Teltonika 3G routers for Slovenia and Croatia

In an effort to maximise the potential of currently undeveloped market segments, 3dot started exploring for possiblities in the WiFi access market in late 2008. The result of our research and various equipment testing is the signed reseller agreement with Teltonika, a manufacturer of GPS tracking devices from Lithuania. While Teltonika is famous for M2M and remote-control management systems and hardware, their recent product line of 3G routers provides a cost effective bridge between GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA and wireless networks.

3dot will offer Teltonika routers to the local market via authorised retail partners and special agreements with mobile phone operators. The Teltonika 3G router products are a great option for secondary and internet access in locations where classic ADSL or FTTH access is unavailable. Thanks to the simple interface and setup, and not third party modem requirements, Teltonika routers are a great solution for quick and simple WiFi coverage in remote and even mobile locations.

More about Teltonika products can be found here.

The new 3dot we’re presenting is not only a reorganised company focused on making the craziest ideas possible, but also a company that will work with the best in business with one common goal – make everything possible.

We will still continue to offer basic IT services on the hosting and domain registration field, but we will focus more on services we’ve found very interesting for small and medium businesses. Like for example billdo. While still in beta, billdo is already being used as a primary accounting solution turning more than 700 documents every week. The power of that service is showing its potential and we’re sure that in the next months billdo will be released in full.

On the other side, for the first time, we will start working with hardware. One of the things we were thinking about for many months now is the basic problem of accessing the internet – anywhere. While UMTS/EDGE service is actually available anywhere, the real usage of that service is still low. The field we will be working on is called 3dot | connect, and it is an evolution of one old project we’ve been thinking about.

The evolution of 3dot is not only in the way we deliver, but also in the way we work with companies we share values and potential with. While we already made some big steps in this direction, we will not stop here. We know our place on the map, and we know what we want to do. Connecting with the best companies only allows us to maximize our potential and deliver better quality not only to our home market, but also to a wider, EU market that awaits fresh solutions to old problems.

The new 3dot is an evolution of one old idea – with the right approach, everything is possible.

Launching our new website and introducing new services.

3dot as a brand was introduced in May 2005. In those 4 years we completed many great projects that helped companies achieve greater optimization of business processes and maximise effectiveness of their services on the market.

Today 3dot is on track being mainly the brainstorming company providing a different way of achieving better business results by using only the newest technologies. From CRM to billing systems, we’ve shown that even the most complicated things can be simplyfied with the right approach, saving thousands of euros to our customers.

In 2009 we will introduce new services to our customers, making the 3dot presence on the market even bigger. With strategic partnerships with only the best companies, we will be able to achieve even more and introduce to the market new services that will directly impact end users.
